Overview of Requirements:

Many people who come to our school just ask the simple question, “What do I need to do to get a degree?” The answer is not difficult to answer, but it is dependent on your own personal accomplishments. Before I answer that question, I want to say that we at ICM are committed to equipping the saints for the service of Christ. We are committed to do this with a Spirit of excellence because we serve an excellent God. Assisting you to fulfill your call from the Lord and therefore building the Kingdom of God is our highest goal.

We offer each student an individual degree program. The process begins when the student fills out our application and we then give him or her an acceptance letter. Fortunately we can give life credits for those graduated from high school over 10 years ago. We can also give credit for ministry experience, continuing education, conferences, seminars, positions held and work done for the church. And of course we can give credit for earned credit hours from other colleges. It is important that the student fill out the application completely with detailed educational and life accomplishments. We attempt to award as much credit as possible for each enrolled student saving them a lot of tuition expense.

An associates degree requires 60 credit hours. Each course is normally worth three credit hours. Remember we will award the student credits for their history, so very few students need to do a full 60 hours for their degree after they receive their acceptance letter.

A bachelors’ degree is a total of 120 credit hours, minus any awarded credits.

A masters degree is 30 credit hours beyond the bachelors and the doctorate is 30 credit hours beyond the masters.

There are certain required courses for all students. Courses can be taken online, in ICM's virtual web-classroom, or live if offered. Most students do a combination of online, web class, and live but the choice is up to the individual.

The student’s program depends on their major and the amount of credit hours we can award or transfer in. After a student applies they will receive their acceptance letter in a few days and it will explain exactly what it will take for their degree and the total cost.

We offer financial assistance in the form of 0% payment plans. This is done by a monthly bank draft. We work with each student setting up their financial assistance plan.
